Dr. LaNora M. James: Mitchellville, Maryland, United States; Dr. James is a 14-year veteran secondary-level Social Studies instructor and published author of "Parents, You are Teachers, Too!" With a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership, a master's degree in Education - Secondary Level, and a bachelor degree in History, she seeks to offer valuable resources and to enable parents and colleagues alike in consistently improving their outlook and establishing goals to facilitate the optimum learning environment for their students. Dr. James is an active member of PGCEA, MSEA, and NEA. She is a member of the National Council for Social Studies (NCSS). She is also a charter member of International Ph.D. Sisters' Association (IPSA).
